Jingzhou City Walls

Another very well preserved city wall can be seen in the city of Jingzhou in Hubei Province. Jingzhou is located along the Yangtze River and is surrounded by a wide moat. The walls at Jingzhou are 9.5 kilometers (6 miles) long and 9 meters (29.5 feet) high. Most of the wall structure is original, but the towers atop the wall have been rebuilt over the years.
